Tech

I solve awkward problems with tech: no signal, no budget, or a world most developers have never seen. Building websites and tools since 2010.

How I work

The usual tools assume good signal, a big budget and people who live online. A lot of real work happens far from all three: in high pastures, on the water, in a family business still run from binders. I go and see how the work really flows, then build the smallest thing that fixes it.

What I fix

  • Off the gridTools that keep working with no signal, for people in the mountains, on the water or on the road.
  • Get foundShow up wherever people look: search, maps, travel sites and AI answers, with reviews that do the talking.
  • Get bookedA fast, clear website with booking that just works, on Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress or custom code.
  • Own your channelsStep back from posting every day for an algorithm. Search, reviews, your own newsletter and direct booking are yours.
  • Work smarterSimple AI tools that save a team hours. Process first: I'm a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from a Lean Six Sigma family, so I cut what isn't needed before automating anything.
  • In their languageWords, sites and tools in English, French, Spanish, German, Swedish or Russian.

Problems I've solved

Chaar herd app

The problem: semi-wild herds spread across high pastures with no phone signal, looked after by people who don't use much tech. What I built: a phone app with every horse, its photos and family tree, and herd sightings on a map. It works offline, in English and Russian.

Lean Six Sigma Worldwide

The problem: my dad's 30-year-old training company lived in 90s binders and 300 slides. What I built: a new identity remastered from those binders, a site in five languages, and an online Yellow Belt course made with AI from his slides.

Kayakomat

The problem: renting a kayak meant someone waiting at the dock. With the team, I helped develop a self-service rental: book online, get a code, open the station and paddle. It's now the world's leading automatic kayak rental, with stations in seven countries.

Chaar Appaloosa

The problem: an ancient spotted horse breed, nearly extinct, that almost nobody had heard of. What I built: the website, stories and photos that tell people it exists, in Kyrgyz as well as English.

Horse Riding Ushguli

The problem: a horseman in a remote Svan village, with great rides and no easy way for travellers to find or book them. What I built: a site with six day rides and their prices, booked straight on WhatsApp.

Point 65 Sweden

Modular kayaks from Sweden. I worked on outdoor sports projects with the team, including their backpack brand Boblbee, and I paddle in their modular kayak film.
